The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Vancouver Island serves over 1000 children, youth and families in Comox, Courtenay, Lantzville, Nanaimo and Ladysmith through enriching programs in 13 club locations. Belonging to a Boys and Girls Club is often a life-changing experience. As caring adult role models, staff build healthy, supportive relationships with children and youth, which in turn can positively influence the life path they choose. Club staff also encourage healthy, respectful relationships with peers and family members.
Boys and Girls Clubs staff are trained, passionate, and dedicated. They build self-esteem by empowering participants to help shape programs and share their ideas. Through these opportunities,children and youth are given the chance to develop life and leadership skills and learn how to contribute to Clubs and their communities.

Boys and Girls Club program staff have a passion for working with children, youth and families, and have experience and training in fields directly relating to child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition. Many staff members have degrees and diplomas in Child and Youth Care, Education, Recreation, or Early Childhood Education and ALL are Experts in Play!

All permanent part time and permanent full time employees will be eligible for 3 weeks of vacation per year. (prorated in the first partial year of employment)
