FAMILY PLACE

Located at our Lantzville Boys and Girls Club, Family Place is an ideal meeting place for the parents and caregivers of children aged birth to six years.  The program runs September through June on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:30, and during July and August on Wednesdays only from 10:00 to 12:00.  By keeping the hours open and flexible, parents can feel free to come and go at their convenience.


Parents are able to be a part of a social environment where they can meet with other care providers and learn stimulating and creative ways to play with and engage their children in developmentally appropriate activities.


Family Place programming also includes an informal play group, the Parent-Child Mother Goose program, and a parent education and resource library.  Family Place is an unlicensed program that is supervised by BGCCVI staff.
