Boys and Girls Clubs Central Vancouver Island – Parenting Programs provide practical support ideas, in a safe, confidential environment for parents of preteens and teens.
Parenting Programs encourage parents to build upon their family strengths while exploring the development of an emerging teen/adult.
Parenting Without Power Struggles (10 weeks)
An education and group support program for parents of preteens ages 8-12. Explore adolescent development, respectful communication, boundary setting and parental self-care.
Thursdays, 10 am – 12:00pm – Starting April 4th, 2019
Parents Together (On-going)
A weekly education and group support program that helps parents of teens (ages 13-18) explore ways to improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships.
Wednesdays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm

Comox Valley Club
BGCC – Parenting Programs were developed by staff and parents throughout BC and is administered under the auspices of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. Provincially, Parenting Programs are generously funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Locally Parenting Programs are funded by United Way Northern and Central Vancouver Island, the Province of British Columbia and the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
