Government and Community Partners

Strategic Partners | Community Partnerships

We are proud to recognize the amazing support of our Strategic Partners, whose generous contributions are helping change lives for young people across Central Vancouver Island and Canada.

At a local level, we have continued to partner with other organizations to improve outcomes for children and youth. We have been working closely with The Nanaimo Aboriginal Centre (NAC) Mid-Island Metis Nation (MIMN), and the Vancouver Island West School District – SD#84 (to operate two K-Grade 5 classrooms at our 5 th St Club), the City of Nanaimo, Haven Society, Loaves and Fishes Food Bank and the Nanaimo Women’s Centre.

We regard “Community Partnerships” as key in working with organizations, municipalities and businesses to make our communities a better place for our families and children to live.  Together we agree to work together to achieve common outcomes that impacts our communities in positive ways.  We will be developing “memorandums of understanding” (MOU’s) to more formally identify our commitments.
