Microsoft Day of Giving
Microsoft’s Day of Giving took place on July 8th, 2012 in the Greater Toronto Area. Microsoft employees sprawled across the city to help refurbish eight different Boys and Girls Clubs, which included painting, building picnic tables and extending their gardens. As a result, these clubs will offer youth the chance to engage in more activities and challenge themselves to develop healthier minds and bodies.
Holiday Greeting Card Competition
As a part of its long-standing commitment to inspire and empower youth creativity, this year Microsoft Canada will be celebrating its 16th annual Microsoft Canada Holiday Greeting Card Competition.
Each year, hundreds of Boys and Girls Club members from across the country submit their artwork into the contest. Microsoft Canada then selects one holiday image as the company’s electronic holiday greeting to be sent to its employees, technology partners, vendors and more. The youth whose artwork is selected will also receive Microsoft software and technology and a cash donation made to their Boys and Girls Club!
