Tupperware’s business strategies and social investment programs align to enlighten, educate, and empower women and girls.  As a National Partner since 2006, Tupperware supports Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s efforts to empower young people to make healthy life choices and develop positive self-esteem.  Through our Youth Councils, we look forward to working with Tupperware to help young people realize their goals and achieve their potential. For the past five years, Tupperware’s support was directed towards our national program, Take it EASY.

Boys and Girls Club Youth Councils
Provincial and National Youth Councils within Boys and Girls Clubs nurture confidence and self-esteem in youth by involving them in opportunities for personal expression, leadership, community involvement, volunteerism, and planning.

An overarching goal of Youth Councils are to educate youth on how to be effective advocates so they can help drive and implement change. Members get involved in research, as well as in communicating policies and programs. They also play a key role in the planning of Boys and Girls Clubs youth conferences.

Take it EASY 

Take It EASY (Empowerment And Self-esteem for Youth) is targeted at youth aged 10 to 15. Through healthy group activities and volunteer initiatives in the community, Take It EASY helps youth – particularly young women – deal with complex issues including gender and body image, sexuality, and violence.
